Portable ground anchor for gundog training, fieldwork and controlled tethering. The Folding Spike Tether is a versatile and robust ground anchor designed to give handlers a secure tether point for dogs during training, preparation, shoot days or downtime. Built for field conditions, this tether helps maintain control without constant handheld supervision, keeping dogs safely in place while you set up equipment, organise groups or take short breaks.

The tether features a spike with a length of 36 cm, giving it the reach and stability needed to anchor securely into soil, grass or soft ground. Once driven into the ground, the spike holds firmly, providing a reliable connection point for attachable leads, lines or tethers. When not in use, the folding handle allows the tether to collapse into a compact form for transport and storage.

Compact yet dependable, the Folding Spike Tether is a practical accessory for handlers who want a dedicated ground anchor that performs consistently in everyday fieldwork scenarios.

A ground anchor like the Folding Spike Tether supports controlled training environments by offering a fixed connection point for leashes and lines, freeing handlers to attend to other tasks while dogs remain safely tethered. It also assists in steadiness and recall work by establishing consistent reference points during position and stay-work. The compact, foldable design makes it easy to carry with your training kit and deploy wherever soft ground permits.
